the mountain has been our gathering point since forever.
a recorded 8000 years of human interaction. In 1876, the city of montreal saved the mountain from inevitable development with the inauguration of mount royal park. in so doing, carved out a place where our communities could continue to play and run and commune within our natural environment.

the cooper's hawk collection, a joint adventure from montreal based ciele athletics and norda run, is a celebration of this essential meeting place. a reminder of the communities who continue to make parc mont royal home, and inspired by the return of the cooper's hawk, the first of the north american true hawks that just recently returned to the mountain to nest and hunt.
