It's safe to say Taka Hayashi will never be far down the Vault by Vans' phone book as the two long time partners join forces once again on their 17th collaboration. The collection features Taka's unmistakable Native American inspired aesthetic and is created with the same standards of craftsmanship for which he's been acclaimed each and every time he's left marks on a Vans project.
It wouldn't be a Vans x Taka collab had there not been any premium materials, that's why suede, nubuck, as well as premium leather are all incorporated differently on each shoe. The whole collection predominantly consists of neutral tones, with the exception of the Sk8 Nomad LX with a checkerboard pattern; the remaining footwear and apparel sport a monotone look with black, grey, navy, and off-white.
We'll be receiving the Sk8 Nomad LX in blue graphite and in TH Checkerboard, the Mountain Edition Laco Lo LX in marshmallow and incense, as well as a selection of clothing. The Vault by Vans x Taka Hayashi collection will be available this Saturday, April 29th at 11AM at our Vans OTH store.
