Introducing the Nike Zoom Talaria Flyknit Mid

INTRODUCING THE NIKE ZOOM TALARIA FLYKNIT MID

Winter is a frustrating time for sneakerheads. You want to wear your kicks but with salt stains always damaging your suedes you're reluctant to bring out the heat - Nike gets that. Given the Zoom Talaria was already a beefy and comfortable running model, retro-ing it as a bulked up, weather-resistant mid-top sneaker-boot while keeping its original qualities was a no-brainer for the Swoosh.

To give you a short backtrack on the history of the model, the Zoom Talaria made it's debut no longer than two years after Zoom Air was introduced in 1995. The Talaria was the third runner to utilize Zoom Air, and was introduced by a Tinker Hatfield-driven team, so you know the nostalgia's real.

Twenty years later, the Zoom Talaria makes its return in a sleek, blacked-out mid top iteration, enhanced in every way for the harshest weather conditions. The Flyknit upper features a mid-top collar that provides a snug sock-like fit, while still being supportive thanks to its tightly woven knit. If keeping dry is an optimal condition for you when buying footwear for the winter, rest assured, the DWR (Durable Water Repellant) finish is made to keep your feet dry and to keep the suede looking as premium as it is. With a D-Ring lacing system and a rugged traction pattern on the outsole, this sneaker perfectly emulates the concept of a winter-boot.

The Zoom Talaria Flyknit Mid is an easy pick for the cold weather conditions, and theses stealth black and olive green colorways are sure to be a must in your sneaker rotation throughout the cold months.

The black Zoom Talaria Flyknit Mid retails for $265 + taxes, and the olive green for $300 + taxes. You can grab them at our Downtown Location or check out a pair online.
