Amsterdam-based streerwear brand Patta and Tommy Hilfiger are excited to announce the launch of their next collaborative collection. Using the melting pot of NYC as the backdrop, the Patta x Tommy collaborative revives the spirit of 90s hip-hop and pays tribute to both brands' streetwear heritage
The collection is a reinterpretation of classic styles, charaterised by '90s hip-hop influence. Preppy staples have been reworked for a timeless relaxed fit while the Patta logo and the Tommy emblem are combined across T-shirts and hooded sweaters. The vastity jacket boasts additional graphics highlighting 1993 - a pivotal year in hip-hop history. The collection uses Tommy's recognizable bright colour palette and fuses with softer tones inspired by Patta. Patta x Tommy consists of gender-inclusive styles that capture a modern streetwear take on New York's 90s vibe.
The brand campaign features NYC-native artists Wiki and Mike, as the leading figures to symbolize the raw resurgence of hip-hop. The duo created an original track, produced by renowed music producer The Alchemist
On Friday, December 9th, Patta x Tommy took over a part of our downtown store for the launch of their collection. With the collaborative logo on full display and the collection unveiled by it's sides, Patta grabbed the reigns for a second time this year following their New Balance x Patta MIUSA 990v3 drop from back in October.
With nods back to '90s hip-hop, the collab collection fit perfectly within OTH's 4 walls with our deep rooted connection to hip-hop from back in the '90s and 2000's. Check out the Patta x Tommy in-store display below and cop from the limited quantities that still remain.
