Off The Hook is proud to announce the opening of a second location, as part of the new Hotel William Gray, in the heart of historic Old Montreal. Situated at 421 Saint-Vincent, this second location is found on the ground floor of Hotel William Gray, alongside Café Olimpico.
OTH @ Hotel William Gray represents an evolution of Off The Hook -- rather than simply a second location -- with a curated selection of brands, and products, that shows a deliberate approach towards providing well-made goods. With a roster of brands including Reigning Champ, Carhartt Work in Progress, Naked & Famous Denim, SUPER, Miansai, Stussy, Atelier New Regime, RAINS, adidas Consortium, Raised by Wolves, Arc’teryx, and Engineered Garments, the store offers a unique shopping experience.
In addition to a tightly curated selection, OTH @ Hotel William Gray also offers brands and shoppers a unique concept space that will be used to launch exclusive products or lines. The OTH @ William Gray space was used to launch Herschel Supply Co’s new ApexKNIT collection, and will be used in the near future to showcase unique achievements in streetwear and fashion design.
The space was designed by Daniel Finkelstein of Consult Design , a Montreal-based design firm, and features furniture by Mitz Takahashi, as well as a 10-foot living plant wall that adds a unique touch to the concept space. The store features custom-designed racking fabricated out of powder coated steel and brass with a contrasting wood slat wall, made of walnut wood slats, whose purpose was to give the boutique a contemporary architectural feature that also hid the mounting brackets for the custom modular brass shelving system. The cash area features walnut wood with brass hardware features and clad on three faces with brass, as well as a Carrera marble counter.
The OTH @ William Gray location is open throughout the week from 10am until 10pm and offers clients access to both Café Olimpico and the Hotel William Gray lounge area at all times, further reinforcing the unique atmosphere of the concept store.
Off The Hook will be hosting an official launch event on Monday, October 24th, at the new location to celebrate an important step in its history and for streetwear in Montreal. To mark the occasion, Off The Hook will also be unveiling its new line of Canadian-made, collegiate-inspired basics, co-produced with legendary Canadian rugby-wear manufacturer Barbarian.
