RFC IS FOR THE CHILDREN
The latest RFC collection is here and it’s definitely for the youth. “RFC IS FOR THE CHILDREN” might draw its name from an old Wu-Tang rant, but it couldn’t have come out at a better time.
Timed to drop with RFC’s always-awesome Frostbite Cup, “RFC IS FOR THE CHILDREN” features a side of RFC we had yet to see. The collection is chock full of premium fabrics and cool prints, as well as some really innovative pieces that are helping to define where RFC is heading.
“RFC Is For The Children” includes hoodies and t-shirts made in Canada, a vintage-inspired ringer t-shirt, a crazy insulated scarf, and a “four seasons” soccer ball. The collection’s graphics have all been created with die-cut rubber and felt. The standout piece, though, if you ask us, is the utilitarian tote bag that turns into a bib with an ingeniously-placed zipper and a few pieces of velcro. The last time Ringleaders dropped a bib it sold out and ended up in the hands of Halsey… so the bar is set pretty damn high for RFC bibs, but this one lives up to the expectations. “IT’S, LIKE, WE THINK ABOUT WHAT HASN’T BEEN MADE YET, AND ASK OURSELVES WHY IT DOESN’T EXIT. THEN WE JUST GO OUT AND MAKE IT.” - RFC
To celebrate the launch of “RFC IS FOR THE CHILDREN”, and this past weekend’s Frostbite Cup, the Ringleaders creatives launched an interactive exhibit in Les Cours Mont-Royal. You can peep some of the pictures by Celia Spenard-Ko below.
