History of Vans: Anaheim Factory

HISTORY OF VANS: ANAHEIM FACTORY

704 East Broadway, Anaheim, California, an address that may be irrelevant to many, but for others, they’ll know what it represents. Anybody who really dives deep into skateboarding history will know that this address is the birthplace of one skating's biggest brands ever, Vans.

ORIGINAL VANS ANAHEIM FACTORY

This legendary shoe store is what brought all of Vans classic silhouettes to life and what ultimately put the company on the map. It’s because of this that the Anaheim factory would be solidified into their history and the name would live on. In a way to stay true to their roots, Vans would create the conveniently named Anaheim Factory collection, a selection of shoes that continues to be released to this day.

Anaheim Factory Vans may appear to be the same as any other pair that releases, but the ones who pay attention can tell the difference. With the specifications being as close as possible to the originally produced Vans, Vans AF shoes do their best to recreate the OG design to the exact details.

With thicker and glossier rubber surrounding the shoes, tougher materials, different stitching and shape, Anaheim Factory shoes are that extra step up from your everyday pair of vans. To top things off, each pair of AF shoes comes with a small touch of modern technology as they all have either Ortholite or UltraCush sockliners.
