NeoNinja – Jeremy Wirth x On and Beyond
Quelques années après leur rencontre à OTH, Jeremy Wirth (illustrateur) et Vincent Tsang (photographe) donnent naissance à un premier projet collaboratif, NeoNinja, qui ne risque pas d’être le dernier. NeoNinja est une représentation visuelle passerelle entre photographie et illustration qui dévoile les talents respectifs de ses créateurs. Les articles viennent presque tous de la Boutique et ce projet nous montre bien les mille et une possibilités de façonner son style chez OTH.

Beginning their relationship years ago at OTH, the NeoNinja project by Jeremy Wirth (illustrator), Vincent Tsang (photographer) is their first effort as a duo, but certainly won’t be their last. Having agreed on a concept that would showcase both of their respective talents, NeoNinja is a visual portrayal that bridges the gap between photography and illustration. Shot in practically all OTH garments, the project makes fine work of showcasing the endless ways to approach your personal style at OTH.

Voici la seconde partie du récap de notre récent séjour à NY à l’occasion du salon Capsule. Ci-dessous, plusieurs collections de marques telles que Wood Wood, DSPTCH, Reigning Champ, ou encore Garbstore. On s’est bien amusés et nous en sommes sortis enrichis grâce à toutes ces marques et aux designers que nous avons rencontré et avec qui nous avons pu discuter. Rendez-vous là-bas l’année prochaine!

Notre employée Verity, avec son côté garçon manqué, nous montre de quoi elle est capable avec ces deux ensembles composés des nouveaux articles hommes et femmes qu’elle préfère. Le premier ensemble, sport et simple tire son originalité des chaussettes tricotées Free People et de ces sneakers à fleurs plutôt marquantes. Resident tomboy Verity shows us how it’s done through two outfits made up of some of her favourite new arrivals from both our men’s and women’s departments. The first look, sporty and simple is kept fun with some knit socks from Free People and some punchy floral print sneakers. Death & Taxes & Down & Wool // La Mort, les impôts, le duvet, la laine
Ce bon vieux Ben a dit un jour “En ce monde rien n’est certain, à part la mort et les impôts.” (B. Franklin) Mais nous à OTH, on pense que si Sir Ben était toujours là, un hiver à Montréal peut-être, on peut être sûr qu’il ajouterait à sa liste la laine et le duvet. Il commence à faire froid ici, très froid – Et sans manteau d’hiver pour vous protéger d’un temps ressenti à -30°C, ça ne va pas le faire.
Qu’est-ce qu’il se passe et pourquoi je cite Benjamin Franklin ? Parce que beaucoup de gens sont en retard lorsqu’il s’agit de s’acheter son manteau d’hiver. On a ce qu’il faut pour vous, mais pour les retardataires du mois de janvier, les miracles n’existent pas, alors passez voir nos stock pendant qu’il nous en reste…
Big Homie Ben once said “In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.” (B. Franklin) But we at OTH feel that if Sir Ben was still around, living through a Montreal winter, he would DEF add down and wool to that list. It gets cold out here people, real cold – And without some down or wool to protect your hide in the -30°C plus windchill conditions, you are not going to be alright.
What’s the big fuss about? Why am I quoting Benjamin-freakin-Franklin to make a point? Because people are always too late when it comes to buying thier winter coats. We’ve got most of you covered, but there is no giant parka rainbow in the sky pouring out an endless supply of outerwear for the January late-comers. Le Gastown Football Club est une équipe de soccer de Vancouver établie en 2010 par quelques amis (aussi fondateurs du magazine Inventory) qui adorent simplement le soccer. Maintenant affiliée avec l’équipe montréalaise Ringleaders avec qui elle partage beaucoup en commun, Gastown FC a pu jouer quelques matchs amicals avec l’équipe soeur.

Based in Vancouver British Columbia, The Gastown Football club was founded in 2010 by friends (and founders of Inventory Magazine) who simply love the game of football. Now a sister club to Montreal’s The Ringleaders , the two clubs share many common threads, and have even had the opportunity to play a couple friendlies with each other over the last couple years.

We’ve hired a new guy for the Vans store! He is Parisian and comes to us with a particularly legitimate background in all things graphic design, Nike, and french kissing…Or so we think lol. As per the usual, the new guy gets put on on blast in front of the camera, so we asked P to show us an outfit he’d like to take home. Needless to say, we like his style.
