As part of our Jansport Signature Series capsule collection we have already released an OTH wallet and lanyard handmade by Dominion Leather as well as an OTH Swisstech Utili-Key and of course the OTH Jansport Signature Right Pack. This week we are finishing off the collection with a pocket tee and 5 panel cap. Both pieces don our Expo ’67 inspired logo along with a sleek black on black patterned print on the pocket of the tee and the underside of the cap’s bill. Jansport Capsule – Dominion Leather OTH Wallets and Lanyards, Swisstech Utility Key // Capsule Jansport – Portefeuilles, Dragonnes et Clé Suisse par Dominion Leather et OTH
Comme annoncé précédemment, La Jansport Right Pack Signature Series par OTH est composée d’article d’une collection capsule qui sortiront petit à petit au cours des prochaines semaines. Les premiers articles sont le portefeuille en cuir, la dragonne et une Clé Suisse OTH. Le portefeuille et la dragonne ont entièrement été faits à la main à Montréal par Dominion Leather. Pour vous donner une idée du processus de fabrication, notre ami Shot By JFK nous a fait une petite vidéo chez Dominion Leather.
As previously announced, OTH’s Jansport Right Pack Signature Series includes a capsule collection that will be released in increments over the next couple of weeks. The first drops are a leather wallet, lanyard, and an OTH branded Swisstech Utility Key. The leather wallet and lanyard are both hand cut, hand stitched and hand dyed in Montreal by Dominion Leather. To give some insight into the process of the fabrication of each of these wallets and landyards, our friend Shot By JFK made a short video from Dominion Leather HQ.

JanSport s’est associé à 21 boutiques à travers le monde pour la création de l’édition spéciale Right Pack Signature Series. Chaque Right Pack original et unique reflète la collaboration avec chaque boutique.
JanSport: Pourquoi avez-vous décider de vous associer à JanSport sur ce projet ?
OTH: Nous avions très bien commencé avec le sac JanSport Right Pack Signature Series et nous sommes sentis honoré d’être approchés une nouvelle fois. Ceci dit, nous avons éprouvé le besoin de développer l’expérience pour nos clients, de représenter la marque dans notre boutique et d’apporter une touche d’exclusivité avec la conception d’une capsule racontant l’histoire de Montréal.
Jansport: D’ou vous est venue l’inspiration du design ?
OTH: Nous avions cette fois-ci envie de faire partager l’esprit local de Montréal. On ne pouvait donc pas mieux choisir que le logo de notre très chère Expo ’67 et y incorporer le notre au milieu. Expo ’67 était de loin l’ère la meilleure et la plus avant-gardiste en termes de design dans l’histoire de Montréal. Elle a aussi donné naissance aux Expos de Montréal, une équipe pour laquelle nous avons une affection toute particulière.
La capsule comprendra 5 articles en plus du sac JanSport Right Pack Signature Series:
Un portefeuille et une dragonne Dominion Leather faits main à Montréal.
Une clé Swisstech qui inclut trois tournevis (plat, phillips, micro-sized), une lime à ongles ainsi qu’une pointe, un coupe-fil, une pince à dénuder et un ouvre bouteille.
Une casquette 5-panel à l’image des motifs Right Pack OTH.
Un chandail blanc muni d’une poche et décoré du logo noir JanSport x OTH.
JanSport has teamed up with 21 boutique retailers from across the globe to design the limited edition Right Pack Signature Series. Each original Right Pack includes a one-of-a-kind that reflects the collaboration with each boutique.
JanSport: Why did you decide to partner with JanSport on this project?
OTH: We had a successful first run at this project with the JanSport Right Pack Signature Series and felt honored to be approached once again. That being said, we felt like we needed to step up and upgrade the experience for our customers, elevating the brand in our shop and offer some exclusivity by designing a capsule collection in order to tell a Montreal story.
JanSport: In your own words please tell us the inspiration for your patch art.
OTH: Along with our design team, we felt like offering a more local Montreal representation this time around. And what better way than our dear Expo ’67 logo, while integrating the OTH brand in the middle. Expo ’67 was by far the best and most avant-garde design era of our city’s history. It also led to the birth of the Montreal Expos, which we keep very close to our heart.
Along with the JanSport Right Pack Signature Series bag, the capsule will consist of 5 additional pieces:
A Dominion Leather wallet and lanyard- hand made in Montreal.
A Swisstech key- includes a flat screwdriver, phillips screwdriver, micro-sized screwdriver, nail file, nail cleaner, wire cutter, wire stripper, and bottle opener.
A five panel camp hat which coordinates with the patches on the OTH Right Pack.

Jamie McDonell
Nous vous présentons notre nouveau membre au crew OTH, Jamie McDonell. Je l’ai récemment photographié dans la célèbre allée en arrière du magasin. Il porte un manteau Stussy Deluxe, une paire de gants Obey, des Redwings et le sac à dos Pleasanton de la série Jansport Skip Yowell. Nous avons pu nous en approvisionner de quelques-uns dernièrement.
Meet Jamie McDonell, he’s the latest addition to the OTH crew. I recently shot him in the iconic back alley of the shop. He’s wearing a Stussy Deluxe jacket, some Obey gloves, Redwings and the Pleasanton backpack from the Jansport Skip Yowell series. We recently were able to get a little restock.
Jansport Signature Pack
Here is a closer look at the Right Pack bag we’ve done with Jansport. Our bag is part of Jansport’s effort to collaborate with various boutiques of the industry. We were one of the lucky selected in Canada amongst other shops. You can see the various other shops selected here. Each shop has gotten the chance to create their version of the Right Pack bag. Our emblem was based off familiar faces of Montreal to make sure we remember what is dear to us wherever we go!

Jansport – Skip Yowell
Co-Founder of Jansport, Skip Yowell, announced his retirement in 2010 in late December. As a last effort and contribution to the brand he started in 1967 alongside Murray Pletz and his wife Yowell offers his very last collection.
