A Golden Light Underneath my Car is a new video lookbook by Alexander Basile for Carhartt WIP. The video shows off the Spring/Summer ’13 collection while following a loosely strung together narrative unfolding in a mixture of urban and landscape settings. Both the video and clothing look incredible, getting us even more ready for the collection’s arrival!

2012 a été pour nous une superbe année. Nous sommes restés dévoués au lifestyle, à la mode, à la musique ou encore aux sports et aux arts. Beaucoup de choses ont changé depuis 14 ans, mais notre philosophie reste la même. Touchdown on St. Catherine’s
Boutique canadienne Upperground depuis 1999, OTH se trouve au deuxième et troisième étage de son bâtiment situé en plein centre ville de Montréal. Nous avons pressenti quelque chose de spécial à l’approche des fêtes de fin d’années en voyant le rez-de-chaussée du 1021 St. Catherine Ouest chercher un nouveau locataire en Novembre 2012…
Il nous a donc semblé tout naturel de saisir la chance qui s’offrait à nous en s’installant dans ces prémisses vacantes qui se trouvaient sous nos pieds. Le logo OTH se trouve désormais pour la première fois au niveau même de la rue St. Catherine et nous voudrions porter un toast à tous ceux qui on su trouver notre porte d’entrée au milieu d’une des rues les plus occupées du pays.
As Canada’s Upperground Boutique since 1999, OTH and its loyal patrons have witnessed much from the second and third floor windows of its downtown Montreal hub for quite some time. We felt that the holiday ’12 season called for something special as we watched the ground floor of 1021 St. Catherine Ouest go up for rent in November of 2012…
Noticing a window of opportunity, it seemed only fit to take advantage of the newly vacated premises that lie just underneath our feet. Being the first time that the OTH logo officially touches street level St. Catherine, Montreal, we would like to make a toast to all who keep finding ourdoorway in the midst of many on one of Canada’s busiest avenues.
