With the upcoming screening of Beats Rhymes and Life we’ve been getting ready by listening to a lot of ATCQ. Here’s something we’ve been listening to from our good friend DJ Psychology. He made this ATCQ mix.

A Tribe Called Quest font leurs débuts au festival du film de Sundance avec Beats Rhymes & Life, d’après le titre de leur quatrième album. La caméra du réalisateur Michael Rapaport suit le groupe durant sa tournée 2008, 10 ans après la sortie de leur dernier album.
Le film sera projeté ce Dimanche à Montréal au Club Soda et pour la première fois au Canada. Plusieurs performances accompagneront la projection du documentaire, ainsi qu’un des membres de A Tribe Called Quest qui n’est autre que Phife Dawg. Les places sont disponibles en exclusivité au magasin.

Named after their fourth album: Beats Rhymes & Life, A Tribe Called Quest made its debut at the Sundance Film Festival last year. Michael Rapaport, director, offers his vantage point on the group’s 2008 tour almost ten years after the group’s last album appearance.
The film will now make its Canadian debut and first screening in Montreal this Sunday at the Club Soda. The documentary film will also be accompanied by several perfomance, but also by none other than Phife Dawg from A Tribe Called Quest. The tickets are exclusively available at the store now.
